We're looking for a collaborative, relationship-driven Senior Recruiter to join our Infrastructure recruiting team. In this role, you'll partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and business leaders to recruit experienced professionals across multiple infrastructure districts throughout North America. This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment where you'll manage multiple priorities, build strong talent pipelines and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first conversation through offer acceptance.

District Overview

You'll join Kiewit's in-house Talent Acquisition team, a group of recruiters who are passionate about finding exceptional talent and supporting the continued growth of our business. As part of the broader Human Resources organization, our recruiting team works hand-in-hand with HR Business Partners and operational leaders to develop hiring strategies, identify top talent and ensure an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring teams.

Our team values collaboration, continuous learning and sharing best practices. While each recruiter owns their recruiting portfolio, you'll have the support of an experienced recruiting team that works together to solve challenges, celebrate wins and continuously improve how we attract talent.

Location

This position may be based out of Houston, Texas (Energy Corridor).

This is a hybrid role with a minimum expectation of four (4) days per week working from the office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for high-volume, experienced professional positions across Kiewit's Infrastructure districts.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities and long-term talent strategies.
  • Develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, employee referrals and other recruiting channels to identify qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of passive and active talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct recruiter screens to evaluate technical experience, leadership capabilities, career goals and overall fit.
  • Guide candidates through the interview and selection process while providing a high-quality, responsive candidate experience.
  • Consult with hiring leaders on market trends, talent availability, compensation insights and recruiting best practices.
  • Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, urgency and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with recruiting teammates to share market intelligence, sourcing strategies and best practices.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Leverage recruiting metrics and reporting to identify opportunities, improve processes and influence hiring decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting engineering, construction, industrial, manufacturing or other technical industries.
  • Experience managing multiple high-volume requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sourcing skills with experience identifying and engaging passive candidates.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers, business leaders and candidates at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong consultative approach with the ability to influence hiring decisions through data and market insights.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
