Kiewit Energy Canada is seeking a Construction Site Administrator to support operations at our Edmonton Mod Yard. This role is embedded in an active construction environment and is critical to maintaining site access control, communication, and daily coordination of yard activities.
This is a field-based position and is not a traditional office role.
District Overview
Kiewit Energy Canada is a major industrial contractor that specializes a wide range of engineering, procurement and construction services to the oil, gas, chemical, ethanol and related process industries. Our projects involve construction of oil sands processing facilities, including steam-assisted gravity drainage facilities, refinery expansions, gas plant expansions, co-generation facilities, major mine developments and pipe spool fabrication.
Location & Hours
This role is based on-site at an active construction site in the Fort Saskatchewan area. The schedule will be Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5pm, and Fridays 7am to 3pm.
Responsibilities
- Act as a central communication hub
- Maintain accurate daily logs and records (personnel, site activity)
- Support site supervision with administrative and coordination tasks
- Enforce and uphold site safety, security, and operational procedures
- Regular interaction with trades, supervision, and delivery personnel
- Review employee hours against badging reports to identify discrepancies
- Communicating gaps/issues with other stakeholders
- Log issues and maintain data for review
- Consolidation of daily construction reporting from multiple contractors
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in a construction, industrial, or field-based administrative role preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-activity construction environment
- Must be able to comply with all site safety requirements and protocols
- Reliable transportation to site
- Ability to work standard project hours, with flexibility as required
- Detail-oriented
- Self-starter
Work Environment:
