It is Kiewit's policy to meet project requirements as defined by the project contract documents and to adhere to corporate quality objectives, which include meeting clients’ expectations and eliminating rework. We continuously monitor performance and strive for ongoing improvement.

- Interpret and apply welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, etc.) to ensure project compliance across all Kiewit districts.

- Travel to project sites, fabricators, and other districts (up to ~25%) to support field execution, procedure implementation, code compliance checks, and technical reviews.
- Support continuous improvement by helping identify welding best practices and lessons learned across Kiewit projects.
- Maintain organized welding documentation and contribute to project quality records, compliance packages, and turnover documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering/Technology, Metallurgical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong foundational understanding of welding principles, materials behavior, and fabrication processes.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into clear guidance for project teams.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to high‑quality execution.
