Location

The position will be based on our project in Darlington, ON. The successful candidate will be local to Darlington, Oshawa or surrounding areas, or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Implement and manage project control systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of project control professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls within the heavy industrial construction sector.
  • Proven experience with nuclear construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. #LI-GH
