Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in operational support by initiating daily compliance procedures, managing data in SAP, and ensuring subcontractor compliance. This role is integrated within the compliance team.
District Overview
Kiewit’s Southern California District stands as one of our premier infrastructure districts, focusing on heavy civil projects that encompass earth-moving, water and wastewater, transportation, roadways, and power initiatives. A significant portion of our work is concentrated in the Southern California region, with select projects extending to Hawaii and Northern California.
Location
This position is located in our Costa Mesa, CA office. This position is 100% on site.
Responsibilities
Administrative Support
· Manage team meeting invites and schedule meeting rooms.
· Assist the team in collecting data in SAP.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
· Maintain physical and digital filing systems with strict confidentiality.
· Enter and track data accurately in SAP.
· Generate routine and custom data reports as needed.
· Send correspondence regarding noncompliance to subcontractors.
Labor Compliance Coordination
· Monitor and audit certified payroll reports for timely submittal.
· Assist in reviewing certified payroll records and labor compliance documentation.
· Stay updated on local, state, and federal labor laws to help mitigate company risk.
· Support the LCM during internal or external compliance audits.
Qualifications
· Experience: 2–4 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role.
· Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
· Sharp attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and strong written communication.
· Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential personnel and financial data.
· 2 or 4-year degree from an accredited college.
Preferred Skills
· Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP ERP systems.
· Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of labor laws, wage/hour regulations, or payroll compliance.

Base Compensation: $25/hr - $28/hr
