Position Overview

Kiewit Fleet Services (KFS) is currently seeking an Equipment Superintendent to support Regional Crane and Marine operations and maintenance. KFS helps to ensure the profitability of Kiewit projects through improved equipment utilization and mechanical reliability by delivering world-class equipment and service. This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, utilization and reliability of our Crane and Marine equipment fleet.

District Overview

Kiewit Equipment Services (KES) helps to ensure the profitability of Kiewit projects through the improved equipment utilization and mechanical reliability by delivering world-class equipment and service. 

Location

This position will be based out of Seattle, WA, but must be willing to travel and relocate as needed. 

Responsibilities

•    Provide field leadership and management of equipment maintenance and readiness to meet specific project needs
•    Ensure project safety and quality performance through personal example as well as supervision activities
•    Work within company data systems to record and track equipment maintenance and utilization

Qualifications

•    5+ years of experience in heavy construction equipment maintenance, repair, and utilization.  Heavy Crane and Marine specific experience preferred.
•    Ability to communicate effectively all levels of district and project management, staff, and craft.

•    Strong work ethic – Willing to do what it takes to get the job done
•    Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
•    Experience in and/or ability to use equipment database-related technology

•    Willingness & ability to travel in the U.S. and internationally as required
•    Willingness & ability to work in both office and field environments
