Position Overview
As a Project Admin for Kiewit, you will provide administrative support to members of a specific project, department, and division while promoting teamwork and creativity by encouraging effective communication. This person should be motivated, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in various software systems such as MS Word, Teams, Excel, Share Point, and others.
District Overview
Kiewit Building Group specializes in constructing office buildings, industrial complexes, education and sports facilities, hotels, hospitals, transportation terminals, science and technology facilities, manufacturing, retail and special-use facilities and extensive interior construction with tenant improvements. Its capabilities include general construction, construction management, design-build, design-assist and turn-key project development. Kiewit also provides fast, accurate preconstruction project management services.

Responsibilities
• Providing day-to-day support with general administrative functions and team management needs (e.g., meeting coordination, travel support, team-building efforts, phone and email communication)
• Collaborating with and supporting team members, working on various projects and initiatives
• Providing basic design support for key company branding and marketing materials and events; helping organize and support key online media and video projects
• Helping the team with messaging, writing, editing, researching and related support for external and internal communications, as needed
• Managing key expense reports, invoicing and purchasing card transactions
• Tracking budgets and preparing related reports for team and company use
• Managing and scheduling inter-group and cross-company meetings involving department staff
• Maintain various tracking logs, facilitating document transmittals, processing and managing Project files, and Trade Partner and Project Team document management
• Collecting and processing Trade Partner and regulatory documentation and requirements.
• Experience and ability to work in a fast paced office, with multiple responsibilities, and able to pivot as necessary to new tasks
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business is preferred, but not required.
• 2+ years related operations administrative support experience is required - advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through work experience.
• Experience working with Engineering / Design and construction operations teams and customers, highly desirable.
• Experience developing presentations in PowerPoint, documents in Word and developing reports/charts in Excel using advanced functions like Pivot tables, Vlookup, and formulas.
• Experience using SharePoint desired; otherwise technologically savvy with the ability to pick up new software quickly.
• Experience dealing with customer calls to resolve issues with a sense of urgency and positive attitude.
• Experience performing outbound calls with customers to set up schedules, resolve issues.
• Demonstrated record of success working in a highly diverse team-oriented office environment.
• Displays the following competencies: Detail orientation, Ability to multi-task, great communication skills (orally and written), computer savvy, problem solving skills, team orientation, ability to work at a fast pace
