Position Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing warehouse operations that support large-scale data center construction projects. This role serves as a key liaison between warehouse personnel, field operations, procurement, logistics providers, vendors, and project leadership to ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and operational readiness.
In addition to managing inventory transactions and warehouse documentation, the Warehouse Coordinator drives process improvement initiatives, analyzes inventory and logistics data, supports material forecasting efforts, and helps establish best practices that improve warehouse performance and project execution. This position requires strong organizational skills, operational judgment, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve material management challenges in a fast-paced construction environment.

Location
This position is based on-site in Abilene, Texas full-time.
Responsibilities

Coordinate daily warehouse operations supporting project material management activities.

Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, transfer, and return of project materials.

Maintain inventory accuracy through system management, cycle counts, and reconciliation efforts.

Analyze inventory trends and material movement data to improve operational efficiency and material availability.

Partner with procurement, logistics, project controls, and field leadership to support project material planning and execution.

Develop and maintain warehouse reporting, inventory metrics, and material status dashboards.

Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and proactively resolve transportation, delivery, and inventory issues.Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure warehouse records, documentation, and material tracking systems remain accurate and audit-ready.

Support implementation of warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist with material forecasting, storage planning, and inventory optimization activities.

Provide guidance and support to warehouse administrative and material management personnel.

Promote compliance with company safety requirements and warehouse operating procedures.

Participate in cross-functional planning meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, material management, supply chain coordination, or construction support services.

Experience supporting large-scale construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, mining, or data center projects preferred.

Working knowledge of warehousing, inventory control, material handling, and logistics operations.

Experience utilizing ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, or material tracking systems.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

Ability to analyze operational data and develop actionable recommendations.

Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, material accountability, and warehouse controls.

Proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders in a high-volume environment.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional project teams.
