Position Overview

As a Document Control Coordinator, you will perform database input and word-processing functions. You will reproduce, distribute, store, and retrieve necessary documentation for active projects and estimating efforts. You will assist in posting changes and maintaining computerized or manual control records and release documents, notifying all affected departments/projects as needed.

District Overview

TIC is a Kiewit Subsidiary that provides direct-hire construction services for industrial projects. TIC Denver has projects in Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Oil Gas Chemical, and Mining across the United States. Its projects range from small capital work up to major EPC projects. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry in an “open-shop” environment.  

Location

This position is based out of Lone Tree, CO.

Responsibilities

•    Act as Document Control Coordinator for multiple industrial projects ranging in size.
•    This position will periodically travel to projects for training and auditing.
•    Organize and maintain all documents pertaining to each project in the document management system.
•    Maintain records of incoming document transmittals and prepare outgoing transmittals and packages.
•    Perform audits of documents to ensure project files are current.
•    Duplicate and distribute documents as required.
•    Transmit, receive, record, and distribute documentation according to established procedures. Documentation includes project transmittals, submittals, RFIs, bid sets, and miscellaneous documentation generated by a project.
•    Perform database input and word-processing functions.
•    Ensure that the confidentiality of sensitive information is protected.
•    Help maintain project’s SharePoint sites and build out SharePoint sites for Estimating opportunities.
•    Receive documentation for incoming bids and update bid documents throughout the course of a bid.
•    Assist in turning over project wins from 
•    Provide training as requested for home office departments.
•    Assess and retain information according to the corporate records disposition schedule.
•    Help maintain the historical data of company past projects and bids. 

Qualifications

•    Prior document control or administrative experience required. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to work patiently with all levels of technological understanding.
•    Strong expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•    Experience with PowerBi a plus
•    Understanding of document management systems.
•    Understanding of SharePoint sites.
•    Previous track record of successfully meeting deadlines and project expectations.
•    Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 
•    Ability to balance multiple projects at a time. 
•    Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, as needed.
•    Ability to maintain strict confidence of important, sensitive information and materials.
•    Enthusiastic team player with an interest in helping the team stay connected and working effectively together.

Base Compensation: $41,831 - $62,747 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
