Position Overview
Kiewit Industrial Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager- Semiconductor/Advanced Technology Manufacturing with primary focus on advanced technology manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, data centers, and other industrial market segments. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale semiconductor facilities and other construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for simultaneously managing multiple Industrial Building project pursuits and operational execution while serving as the Senior Project Manager. He or She will be expected to have a firm understanding of the team’s core technical capabilities and the needs of the markets’ major clients. The successful candidate should have existing, strong relationships with multiple targeted clients in his or her market and should have established contact with other potential, secondary clients that could be leveraged in the future. The role requires the successful candidate to engage both new and existing clients to solidify strong relationships and best position his or her team to build a stable and growing backlog. The successful candidate should have experience in project sorting to determine if a project should be bid or not bid based on an effective evaluation of the impactful variables. The role requires an understanding of account financials including reporting these results to the senior management. He or She will help build and execute short-term and long-term market strategies to set the best course supporting the overall Industrial Building line.

Location
This position will be based out of Lenexa, KS and typically requires 50-75% travel across the United States and Canada or as business necessitates. Postition may be performed remotely with executive approval..
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the market by building relationships throughout each clients’ organization.
- Drive business growth through expanding service offerings within existing clients.
- Champion communication with clients and promote client partner culture in collaboration with business development team.
- Sponsor business development pursuits, key partnerships, strategy and initiatives, including development and review of proposals and estimates.
- Provide market sponsorship and monitor performance routinely using pre-defined metrics (Ex: progress of projects, financial health, schedule adherence, risk and opportunities, claims).
- Work closely with “Get Work” teams and other internal departments ensuring maximum exposure of the Company’s capabilities, including an understanding of the offerings of other Kiewit business units and the presentation of those capabilities when appropriate.
- Manage market’s financial performance, revenue delivered, and achieved gain
- Actively collaborate in development of business planning and market strategy
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including the client, vendors and subcontractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in engineering or Construction from an ABET accredited university
- At least 15 years of experience as large project Industrial Building leadership responsibilities in Construction, Estimating, Design, Operations or Development.
- At least 10 years of management experience, either through leading Industrial Building project construction teams, leading estimate or pre-construction efforts, and/or through developing business opportunities in the industrial buildiings market.
- Knowledge of engineering standards applicable to the Industrial Building industry
- Demonstrated client relationship experience
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence in taking initiative
- Professional Engineering license (desired)
- PMP Certification (desired)
- Prefer Precast and tilt up design and install experience
- Legally able to work within the United States for any length of time
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; fluent in English language

Base Compensation: 225,000 - 275,000
