Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team, specializing in construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Location

This position is a traveling position.  Candidates will need to be open to traveling to different projects across the US.  Per Diem and travel home will be a part of the total offer package.   

Responsibilities

•    Conduct detailed inspections of electrical systems and installations on construction sites to ensure compliance with national and local codes.
•    Review electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications to verify proper installation and adherence to project requirements.
•    Perform tests on electrical systems and components to ensure functionality and safety.
•    Document inspection results, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate findings to project managers and other stakeholders.
•    Identify and report any electrical hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues.
•    Collaborate with construction teams to address and resolve electrical issues or discrepancies.
•    Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure electrical work meets quality and safety standards.
•    Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
•    Travel to various job sites as required.

Qualifications

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical inspection, preferably in construction projects.
•    Certification as an Electrical Inspector (e.g., ICC, IAEI) is preferred.
•    Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
•    In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and inspection techniques.
•    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
