We are looking for an Electrical Superintendent to add to our construction team to support Industrial projects around the country, with the initial project in Florence Arizona. District Overview
TIC is a Kiewit Subsidiary that provides direct-hire construction services for industrial projects. TIC Denver has projects in Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Oil Gas Chemical, and Mining across the United States. Its projects range from small capital work up to major EPC projects. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry in an “open-shop” environment.

Our Superintendents "go where the work is". Project locations will vary.
We currently have needs in Florence, AZ & Mt Pleasant, WI
Responsibilities
- Provide supervisory direction of craft workers including journeymen, apprentices for electrical construction, via the general foreman and foreman, managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence.
- May oversee more junior superintendents providing mentorship and guidance.
- Liaison between field engineering and craft to ensure compliance of construction drawings and specifications with regard to Electrical Construction
- Coordinate and interface effectively with other superintendents and subcontractors, as well as Kiewit staff personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
- Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
- Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements. Manage contract administration (subcontractor/field management meetings for communication).
- Oversee monthly job cost updates, cash flow projections, review, approve and negotiate change orders
- Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
Qualifications
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed
- 7+ years’ experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, performing functions as identified above, either performing construction oversight/construction management of subcontractors or directly overseeing foreman and craft crews doing self-perform work. A combination of both, highly desired.
- Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft and subcontractor performance
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative with strong leadership, negotiation, planning and contract administration skills
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
