Position Overview
As a member of the Project Management Team, it is your responsibility for reporting to management all issues related to the project’s quality performance on a regular basis. Quality performance is defined as quality program implementation, inherence to procedures and policy, nonconformances, rework, customer concerns or complaints and corrective actions. Lead and manage the quality effort to include quality assurance and control activities and personnel. Act as liaison to customers, vendors and subcontractors in regard to quality.

Location
The successful candidate must be willing to travel or relocate to any of our projects in the US. Our office is headquartered in Grapevine, TX.

Responsibilities
- Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company and its staff in meeting objectives, and to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
- Approve and sign plans that meet required specifications.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and project status.
- Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.
- Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
- Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees.
- Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Issue violation notices and stop-work orders, conferring with owners, violators, and authorities to explain regulations and recommend rectifications.
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Monitor installation of wiring, equipment, and appliances to ensure that installation is performed properly and is in compliance with applicable regulations, drawings and specifications.
- Read worker logs, build sheets, quality checklist, test reports and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
- Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum 5 years' experience working as an electrician and in an electrical quality role.
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems or Total Quality Management
- 5+ years Quality Assurance or Control experience
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment
