Position Overview

As a Quality Manager, you will provide Quality Assurance oversight during all phases of Industrial (auto, steel, manufacturing, etc.) project development from early stages through construction.

This position will be based out of Cherne offices in Lenexa, KS with frequent interaction with our district office in Eden Prairie, MN. The position also requires frequent exposure to project sites as well as interaction at client, internal joint venture or subcontractor locations.

  • Develop thorough knowledge of EPC project scope and schedule as they apply to QA/QC
  • Plan, organize and implement quality audits covering all phases of EPC project development, engineering and construction phases
  • Provide primary technical support to all staff members by managing the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and by research/answering questions of a technical nature
  • Assist other projects and regions as needed in the implementation of The Company’s Quality Program
  • Four-year engineering, science or technical college or university degree plus ten years’ QA/QC experience in heavy industrial construction particularly in the heavy industrial (manufacturing, steel, automotive and similar) market
  • Must have working knowledge of construction industry codes (AWS, ASME, etc.)
  • Current CWI certification
  • Previous experience in projects related to the industrial manufacturing construction market
  • Self-starter with organizational, managerial and leadership skills
