Location

This position is located at 1216 West 76th Street, Davenport, IA 52806. 

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, answer multi-line phone, and properly route incoming calls

  • Maintain various paper and electronic records and databases, including project files and technical reference libraries

  • Process incoming/outgoing mail; prepare shipping labels for outgoing packages

  • Assist with the coordination of company events

  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two to three (2 to 3) years of related administrative experience is preferred
  • Able to display and maintain a positive attitude in a customer-focused environment
  • Regular, reliable attendance; able to work in the office Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate, organize, and follow up on various projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Solid organizational skills, with ability to prioritize daily responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently:  Take directive on a project and then procced to completion, using a high level of initiative and independent action
  • Able to work as part of a team:  Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with employees in all departments and be willing to cross-train in various administrative roles

•    Regular, reliable attendance

•    Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
•    Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
•    Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
