Aero Automatic Sprinkler Company is a large, full service fire protection company headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.  We are a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation providing fire sprinkler design, installation, and service to our customers.  Currently, we are seeking well-qualified Fire Sprinkler Service Foremen to join our Phoenix team.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret  structural blueprints.

Select proper pipe and related materials for layout and installation.

Perform cutting, fitting, and pipe connection using a variety of hand tools.

Install hydraulic components of machines and equipment.

Accurately complete required daily paperwork.

Adhere to OSHA standards and Company safety policies and procedures

Perform maintenance and repairs on all types of systems including dry pipe, wet pipe, pre-action, deluge, foam, fire pumps and standpipes.

Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Must have eight (8) years of verifiable fire sprinkler fitter experience.

In addition to regular work schedule, must be available to work occasional weekends, nights, and overtime.

Demonstrate clear understanding of maintenance and repairs of all types of systems including dry pipe, wet pipe, pre-action, deluge, foam, fire pumps and standpipes.

Must have ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Must have working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Must have a working knowledge of all applicable NFPA standards.

Must have knowledge of equipment safety and proper lifting techniques.

Must successfully pass periodic drug screening and background checks.

Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean Department of Motor Vehicles report.

Able to work on ladders or elevated surfaces and lift/handle up to 100 pounds.

Must have ability to work in high places, cramped quarters and in inclement weather.

Must have professional appearance and attitude, and superior communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
