Position Overview:

If selected for this Internship, you will be an integral part of the Enterprise Reporting team, a team that is focused on highlighting the relationships and decisions that can be made from the data we collect each day at Kiewit.

Reporting Development/Data Interns primary role is to assist and learn from the Enterprise Reporting team. Reporting Development/Data Interns should assist with reviewing requirements, defining a solution, developing reports according to the solution, testing the overall solution both technically and functionally, and successfully implementing the solution. Reporting Development/Data Interns are under the supervision of an Enterprise Reporting analyst/developer.

Responsibilities:

While on the analytics and reporting team, you will participate in the following activities:
• Gathering business requirements from multiple business areas
• Working with Microsoft technologies such as SQL and SSRS
• Prototyping reports and designing visual representations of data
• Assisting with testing of various reports
• Collaborating on analytics and reporting solutions
• Report Implementation, support, and documentation
• Opportunities to work on presentation skills
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, statistics, management information systems, business analysis, or related field
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work independently and communicate risks or potential problems to manager
