1. OVERVIEW
The Quality and Continuous Improvement (QCI) Department Coordinator provides critical support to the department by driving accountability, progress toward goal completion, and effective communication with our partners.

4. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage special department programs (e.g. Quality to Me).
• Expedite the application and renewal of company engineering licensure and ensure jurisdictional compliance.
• Produce consistent, accurate, high-quality, and timely presentations, documents, reports, and communication.
• Maintain and continuously improve the department documents and document control system.
• Maintain department content in electronic platforms (e.g. Kiewit Wiki, SharePoint, and Smartsheet).
• Work with the QCI Manager to maintain and develop department procedures and work tools.
• Assess compliance with business processes, procedures, and work tools.
• Support causal analysis and department initiative activities (e.g. research, document preparation, records management, etc.).
• Plan, set up, and prepare for meetings and events both on and off campus.
• Take and route accurate meeting minutes, track action items, and communicate outcomes.
• Manage the QCI manager’s calendar on their behalf.
• Book travel arrangements and process expense reports.
• Order supplies and incentives. Provide incentive notification to Accounting as appropriate.
• Assist in new-hire onboarding and orientation activities.
• Manage department distribution lists.
• Other duties as assigned.

5. QUALIFICATIONS

6. TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Visio, OneNote, Bluebeam Revu, PowerBI, Tableau, and Smartsheet is a plus.

7. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
We are building a team of individuals with diverse skill sets and backgrounds who, together, will drive our continuous quality improvement culture.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Two or four year degree from an accredited university or technical college is a plus.
