Primary Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and perform calculations to obtain plan numbers for Dimensional Control activities
• Operate all survey instruments with a high degree of proficiency
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
• Calculate radial stakeouts
• Search for section corners, property irons, and survey points
• Responsible for keeping accurate records of time, attendance, and disciplinary action given

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree is required
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field is required
• Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations (area, volume, circumference, proportion, percentage)
• Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams
• Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity
• Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work individually and as a team
• Committed to working safe and getting the job done right the first time
• Ability to travel and relocate as required

Working Conditions

• Will manage a diverse workload; must be able to handle stress and immediate deadlines
• Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management
• Possible travel throughout the U.S. and internationally
• Occasionally lift and move objects up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to work regularly scheduled hours and occasional irregular hours
