Position Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring projects or facilities are managed efficiently, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves coordinating teams, managing schedules, and serving as the primary point of contact for projects for Mob, De-Mob and daily needs.

Weeks provides a cohesive dredging services lifecycle, specializing in capital and maintenance dredging for deep or shallow draft navigation in addition to coastal restoration and protection.
Location
This position will be based out of our Houma, Louisiana Yard.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the pipe Crew and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure no delays in operations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks both for the crew and the equipment.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, dredge captains, and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and personnel on site.
• Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during operations.
• Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all components used for projects such as but not limited to Pipe, fittings, and all accessories.
• Manage payroll and ensure that the hours are being allocated to the correct WBS code for the work being performed each day.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Industry-specific certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP, or trade licenses) are a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in scheduling software and project management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
Working Conditions
• On-site/Field work/Office-based
• May require limited travel between job sites.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical environments.
• Available for 24-hour operation as required.
