Position Overview
As Project Engineer, you will report directly to the Project Manager. Your main functions will include contract administration, project planning and scheduling, and project reporting, and you will play an advisory role to Project Management for project issues.

This location will be based in Honolulu, HI.
This position will be part of our Healy Tibbitts/Weeks Marine team.
Responsibilities
• Assist in building/maintaining schedule documents (P6, MS Project, Excel)
• Drafting of subcontracts
• Tracking daily cost and creating trend charts
• Coordination & development of temporary structure designs
• Assist in understanding of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
• Perform quantity calculations
• Assist in the preparation of work plans
• Assist in compiling, processing, and confirming daily labor timesheets
• Assist in the preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s)
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety training
• Order and schedule material deliveries
• Supervise field operations
• Develop leadership and management skills

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology,
Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or Coastal
Engineering
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera and HCSS Heavy Bid preferred
• Proficient skills in standard computer software packages
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week with additional hours as required by project
• This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language

Base Compensation: $85,000 - $112,456
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
