District Overview
TIC Marine and Heavy Civil self-performs marine projects with company-owned equipment for both the public and private sector, historically focusing on the southeast coast. Our construction operations are supported by our in-house equipment department, fabrication facility and machine shop to streamline projects for our owners. Using our own equipment and fabrication facility allow us to maintain control over critical scopes, ensuring that the project stays on schedule. Past heavy-civil experiences include cast in place concrete, steel, box beam, flat slab, railroad trestle and arch bridges, bridge widening, bascule and swing bridges, box culverts, storm drainage, erosion control, dike and levee construction, concrete paving, tunnels and sound barriers. Our Marine experience includes lock and dam repairs, docks, demolition, Navy wharfs, water intake structures, steel, concrete, composite and timber piling, fender systems, dolphins, piers, dredging, marinas and LNG facilities.

Responsibilities
Scope: This position will report to the Business Development Manager, and work closely with the entire Business Development and District Leadership Teams. There will be vital interaction to ensure our approach to new work pursuits is an organized and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Management & Analytics
o Acquire, organize, analyze, disseminate, and monitor information on markets, clients, competitors, specific projects, technology, and legislative developments to the Business Development team and management.
o Obtain data to support the forecasting and tracking of markets and trends, analyzing collected data.
o Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature and other sources.
o Seek and provide data to help the company determine strategic positioning in various industries.
o Gather data on competitors and analyze their projects, win/losses, methods of marketing, strategies, and assist with the development of pursuit White Papers and Capture Plans.
o Perform in-depth transit market research on a variety of businesses in engineering, construction, and equipment providers.
o Assist with identification and update of opportunities by reviewing and understanding Local, State, and Federal funding mechanisms and Capital Investment Programs.
o Prepare reports, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text for the Business Development team and management.
o Contribute to the design, development, and operation of TIC's information infrastructure system (knowledge management system)/electronic library.
o Organize and update key stakeholder contact information.
o Update data and run reports as needed in TIC'S proprietary Client Relationship Management System (CRM).
• Presentations & Proposal/Marketing Support
o Creating and managing PowerPoint presentations for Senior Management.
o Coordinate with other Kiewit Districts to ensure our efforts are efficient and effective.
o Assist the Proposal department and other marketing tasks, as needed.
o Assist with development and maintenance of marketing collateral – advertisements, newsletters, websites, print, media, etc.
o Manage conference and tradeshow logistics, including booth registration, signage, setup, shipping, freight coordination, etc.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of work, managing multiple projects and coordinating multiple requests to successful completion.
• Proven ability to take initiative and build strong and productive personal relationships
• Excellent creative and strategic abilities.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
• Basic understanding of data management and analytical software, such as CRM, SharePoint, Tableau, etc.
• Travel is required within U.S. and Canada.
