Position Overview
Jet Pipe Industries is currently searching for an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative, in this role you would be responsible for all types of sales activities, including identifying new opportunities, introducing potential customers to the advantages of our products and services, following up on sales inquiries, negotiating and closing sales.
District Overview
Jet Pipe Industries is a full-line distributor and fabricator for both commercial and residential systems, a one-stop shop for fire protection contractors. Location
This position is based out of our Phoenix, AZ offices at 21605 N Central Ave, Phoenix AZ, 85024.
This role also involves being boots on the ground at our clients facilities/offices, so travel around the greater Phoenix area is also expected.
Responsibilities
- Develop positive working relationships with customers interested in purchasing the fabrication and loose materials of fire sprinkler systems for tenant improvement, building remodel, building additions, repairs and other similar modifications.
- Understand current market trends and develop new sales ideas.
- Demonstrate products or services and provide assistance in the best application of products or services.
- Apply knowledge of fabrication techniques as well as various products used in fire protection systems.
- Estimate costs of services including fabrication, will calls, loose materials, and other materials used in fire protection systems.
- Prepare proposals to identify scope of services being provided.
- Work with Accounting Department to prepare billings.
Qualifications
- At least five (5) years performing the responsibilities listed above preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.
- Proven ability to take initiative and build strong and productive personal relationships
- Creative and strategic abilities.
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, along with presentational skills.
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
- Basic understanding of data management and analytical software, such as CRM, SharePoint, Tableau, etc.
